Although it may seem obvious, one of the easiest but most important actions you can take to help your country is vote, and encourage your family and friends to do so as well! In order to preserve the integrity of our democracy and ensure the will of the people is carried out by our government, it is important to make your voice heard. This year, your vote in the 2022 midterm elections is more important than ever! In 2017, the United States fell from the position of a full democracy to a flawed democracy as civil liberties, political participation, trust in the government, and government functioning decline. Democracy only works as long as we the people participate and make our voices heard. We must ensure the strength of our democracy as a pillar of the free world so we can help others who are also fighting for democracy.
